Feeding
Breast pump hire, by the week
Hire a Spectra S1 electric breast pump for as long as you need one, with free delivery within the Macarthur area. Send an enquiry and EverNurture will arrange it with you.

What it costs
Breast pump hire costs, set out plainly
EverNurture hires out Spectra S1 pumps, an electric breast pump that comes in its own carry bag. You pay by the week, so the cost follows the time you actually use it rather than the price of buying one outright.
- $50 per week hire
- $50 for the pump set
- $100 refundable deposit, returned when the pump comes back in the same condition
- Free delivery within the Macarthur area
Living outside the Macarthur area? Say where you are in your enquiry, and EverNurture will tell you what can be arranged.
Why families hire a pump rather than buy one
The need for a pump is often short, and hard to predict before your baby arrives. Some families only find out in the first days that they will be expressing, and others need one for a few weeks around a particular stage.
Hiring means you can start straight away, without choosing and buying a pump while you are still working out what you need.
Common reasons to hire
- Expressing for a baby who is not yet feeding well at the breast
- Building a supply of expressed milk on the advice of your care provider
- Going back to work and keeping breastfeeding going
- Sharing feeds with a partner so you can rest
How it works
Arranging your pump hire
Everything goes through one enquiry, so there is no account to set up and nothing to order online.
-
Send an enquiry
Use the enquiry form and mention breast pump hire, your suburb and roughly when you need it.
-
Your pump is arranged
EverNurture confirms the details with you and arranges delivery. Within the Macarthur area, delivery is free.
-
Return it when you are done
Hire runs by the week. When the pump comes back in the same condition, your $100 deposit is refunded.
Help with expressing, not only the equipment
A pump is a tool, and expressing can feel awkward at first. If feeding or expressing is not going the way you hoped, a midwife can look at what is happening with you at home. Breastfeeding support at home
Feeding is also one of the things covered in postnatal home visits, alongside your own recovery and your baby's checks.
Support at any hour
The Australian Breastfeeding Association helpline is on 1800 686 268, staffed by trained counsellors at any hour of the day or night.
If your baby is feeding poorly and unusually sleepy, ring your midwife, or Healthdirect on 1800 022 222.
