Before your baby arrives
Antenatal services, in your own home
Everything the EverNurture midwives offer in the months before the birth, all of it in your own home. Preparation and education rather than clinical care, alongside the pregnancy appointments you already have.

Antenatal support
Antenatal services you can arrange before the birth
Each of our antenatal services has its own page explaining what it involves. All four EverNurture midwives are endorsed, and each one works through her own practice, in your home rather than a clinic. Every midwife shapes a session around the family in front of her, so read these as the ground covered rather than a fixed syllabus. Most families choose one or two, so start with the questions you actually have.

How it fits with your maternity care
This sits alongside your appointments, not instead of them
Your pregnancy continues to be looked after by your GP, your hospital midwife or your obstetrician exactly as before, through the antenatal services you already use. Nothing on this page replaces any of that.
What an EverNurture midwife adds is time and preparation: the unhurried conversation there is rarely room for in a clinic appointment, held in your own home, with your partner in the room rather than in a waiting area.
The EverNurture midwives do not provide labour and birth care. Your birth is looked after by your hospital or birth service. Their care sits either side of it.
Most families book in the third trimester
Early enough that there is time to sit with the information, late enough that it is still fresh when you need it. Somewhere in the last stretch of pregnancy suits most people.
If you are expecting twins, have been told to prepare for an earlier arrival, or simply want longer to think, bring it forward.
The same midwife can visit once your baby is here
If you book your antenatal session with the midwife you plan to see after the birth, the person at your door in those first foggy weeks already knows you and what you were hoping for. Midwives call this continuity of care.
Fees and Medicare
Each midwife sets her own fee for her antenatal services, and a Medicare rebate may apply for eligible families because all four are endorsed. How much comes back depends on your own Medicare position, so ask the midwife you contact to spell it out before you book.
Arrange your session
Book directly with the midwife you choose
Every midwife takes her own bookings and can tell you what a session covers, how long it runs and what it costs.
