Meet the midwives

Four endorsed midwives, four independent practices

Suzie, Nohelia (Natalie), Elisa and Rebecca each run their own midwifery practice. Here is a little about each of them, from their training to the work they do today.

Suzie registered as a nurse in 1991 after training at the University of Western Sydney, then qualified as a midwife in 1995 at Liverpool Hospital. In 2021 she gained her endorsement, which allows her to provide Medicare rebates for some services.

She has worked in all areas of maternity, and today provides antenatal care alongside a private obstetrician in Liverpool as well as running her own practice. A mother of three daughters, Suzie believes education empowers women and their partners and helps ease the fears many people have about birth and the weeks after it.
